Developing Citizenship for Students
The external Citizenship sub-committee, with the support of the University of Wyoming's Malcolm Wallop Civic Engagement Program, has compiled state and national resources and aligned them with Wyoming’s Profile of a Graduate themes and with Wyoming's state curriculum Content Standard 1 - Citizenship, Government, and Democracy (Students analyze how people create and change structures of power, authority, and governance to understand the continuing evolution of governments and to demonstrate civic responsibility). This resource has been created to support the civics education work being done by districts, schools, and outside community organizations.
